Wells of Hayward, California registered it as N3158G in 1963. Dennis W. Childers of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma acquired it in 1986 and sold it to Dale Churchill of Mesa, Arizona on June 18, 1998. It flew as as USAF 93856/TA-856. It currently flies as Army Air Corps 23999/BP-255.
Commemorative Air Force North American SNJ-5 Texan N3246G was ordered by the Army Air Force as AT-6D 42-86092, but it was delivered to the US Navy as SNJ-5 BuNo 90725. Its construction number is 88-17873. E. L. Honeywell of Fort Worth, Texas registered it as N3246G in 1963. Aero Nutz Incorporated of Monroe, Lo8uisiana bought it in 1966 and sold it to Raymond K. Elias of Portland, Texas in 1969. Confederate Air Force Arizona Wing of Mesa, Arizona acquired it on January 11, 1973. It was damaged when it ran off a runway during landing at Mesa on October 23, 2001.

Skarda Flying Service of Hazen, Arkansas acquired it on January 17, 1984. It flies as as BuNo 53835/GS-41.

It was struck off charge on December 27, 1957. James H. Defuria and Fred J. Ritts of Intercontinental Airways of Canastota, New York registered it as N4132A. M.L. Alson and Aero Enterprises of Elkhart, Indiana acquired it in 1960. It was damaged in a crash landing at Elkhart. Gary Harris of Half Moon Bay, California acquired the fuselage in 1974. William A. Spear of San Diego, California undertook its restoration. Gerald S. Beck and Tri-State Aviation of Wahpeton took on the restoration project in 1989. Robert E. Odegaard of Kindred, North Dakota acquired it in September 1990 and registered it as N4129E. It was registered as N151RJ on September 9, 1994. It was restored to airewirthy condtion using parts of 22 airframes and the dataplate of 44-74404. It made its first flight after restoration in 1995. It flew as 474404 BC-H Dazzling Donna. It has since been restored as NL151RJ Stang.

It was converted to a DC-9-82 on July 11, 2001. It was withdrawn from use on October 1, 2004. Allegiant Air registered it as N866GA on January 20, 2005. It was converted to an MD-83 in 2005.

Richard Foote of Andover, Connecticut bought it in 1977 and sold it to Bruce D. McCauley of Keene, New Hampshire in 1986. George M. Krieger and Dumfries Marine Corporation of Dover, Delaware acquired it in April 1988 and registered as N51KT in May 1990. Bruce Thompson of Anoka County, Minnesota acquired it in November 1997. It has been registered to Dennis Buehn of Carson City, Nevada since May 24, 2010.

Venus Airlines registered it as SX-BAQ on November 17, 1993. Centennial Air leased it and registered it as EC-159 on December 22, 1995 and re-registered it as EC-GFJ on April 23, 1996. Dinnair registered it as OH-LPD in December 1996. Allegiant Air/Nordic Airways registered it as SE-RGP on May 23, 2006. Allegiant Air registered it as N883GA October 9, 2006. It has been registered to Sunrise Asset Management since March 2, 2011.
The former Williams Air Force Base is now known as Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. In addition to serving as a civil airport, it is frequently visited by military aircraft taking advantage of its limited traffic. Several pilot training schools operate at the airport. Allegiant Air provides passenger service to airports around the country on a fleet of McDonnell Douglas MD-83s. An air tanker base occasionally hosts fire fighting tankers. Boeing has a test facility for hot weather tests and Advanced Training Systems Incorporated refurbushes Douglas A-4 Skyhawks.
